|Assignment||House of Damballa on Bernadette|
Urban jungle wisdom mingles with unrefined, earthy sensuality in this woman, the duality achieving a strange synthesis in her color scheme of black and red. A thick mess of rust-dyed hair ripples across her shoulders and down to mid-back, with a smoky dark brown showing through the fading color in some sections. Pushed away from her forehead and temples, the waves frame a smooth-skinned face with round cheekbones and a strong square jaw. Warm ocher skin tone and starkly ringed brown irises proclaim her mixed heritage, as does the narrow patrician nose which then broadens across the nostrils. Niger ancestry is unmistakable in her full plush lips. Her looks have the potential to be quite appealing, but public opinion doesn't appear to interest her. Except for a thick lining of kohl around her sloe eyes, she wears no make-up. There is a thin silver barbell pierced through the arch of her right eyebrow.
The trim five foot seven frame of well-fleshed curves is covered by a punkish ensemble of a black pullover top, stretchy red plaid breeches, and full black leather boots. The top bears a vintage-style cracked latex design promoting, of course, sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll. White striped sleeves are rolled up to the elbows, exposing slender forearms which end in black wrist-bands and finger-less gloves with studded knuckles, which in turn reveal black-painted fingernails. The red trousers are detailed with black and white stripes creating the plaid pattern, and are accented with zipper pockets diagonally slashing the thighs. The sleek black boots carry thick soles and a column of buckled straps all the way up the outside calves.
